Bologna Director Sartori Eyes Polish Talent Włodarczyk

Bologna are making an effort to track a player in the opposition of a rival club, with a club delegation present at Atalanta’s Gewiss Stadium to track a particular Sturm Graz striker. As La Dea beat the Austrians thanks to Berat Djimsiti’s solitary strike in the second half, their former sporting director was busy taking notes on 20-year-old Szymon Włodarczyk.

As per TuttoBolognaweb, the Polish center-forward is being scouted by Bologna for a transfer at the end of the season, although the Rossoblù could eye a move as early as the upcoming winter transfer window.

Having signed for Sturm Graz for a fee exceeding €2M on a four-year deal over the summer, the youngster has already made his mark in the Austrian Bundesliga, scoring 9 goals in 21 league appearances. His performances have only drawn the gazes of interested clubs.

Described as modern, technical, and physical, Włodarczyk is touted as the future of the Poland national team. Bologna have taken an early interest in him and may already move ahead for his services, given his value has doubled in a matter of mere months since the summer.

The Felsinei are expected to receive a few offers for Joshua Zirkzee at the end of the season, as he’s on the radar of major clubs.
