Danilo Pledges Juve Allegiance, Ignores Bayern and PSG

Juventus captain and fullback Danilo is set to stay at Juventus for at least the next two years, reportedly, as he possesses no interest in moving to either of the big clubs interested in his services. The Brazilian extended his stay until the summer of 2025 with the Bianconeri at the start of the year.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato), both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have their sights set on signing Danilo on a permanent transfer. However, despite the interest, Danilo has supposedly pledged his allegiance to the Bianconeri colors.

Having moved to Juventus four years ago from Manchester City, Danilo has established himself as a surefire starter under Massimiliano Allegri. It seems there’s no reason to move out whatsoever, given his stature in Turin.

The 32-year-old is currently sidelined with a muscle injury, having appeared in each of Juventus’ first eight Serie A games of the season.

Our Take on Danilo and Juventus

Danilo has proven himself to be captain material time and again, and Juventus will certainly miss his absence if he intends to leave. However, thankfully for the club, he is set to stay.
