Following the Nerazzurri‘s 2-0 defeat against German outfits Bayern Munich within the last match-week of the Champions League, Inter center-back Stefan De Vrij provided his insight on his team’s display.

Despite a difficult start to the season for the Dutch international, De Vrij has managed to regain his fine run of form as he played a fundamental role within Il Biscione’s seven-match unbeaten run across all competitions, bagging a header in Inter’s 3-0 victory over Sampdoria during the weekend.

While speaking to the media, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb the 30 year-old spoke about the Milanese club’s courageous performance at the Allianz against a difficult opposition:

“There were positive moments in which we had courage having opportunities but we knew that the opponent was very strong. We also need to know how to suffer as a team and I think we did. It’s a shame about the result but we are growing and we must continue to improve.”
