With Inter set to face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in match-week six of the Champions League, Nerazzurri boss Inzaghi previewed the match in the press.
As it stands, Inter are situated in second place in Group C with a total of of ten points, five points away from Bayern, who have managed to win all their matches within the group stage thus far.
As there is not much at stake due to the fact that it is impossible for Inter to completely consume the five-point difference with solely one match remaining until the knock-out phase, it remains to be seen how the Milanese club will line up considering they are set to travel to Turin to play Juventus over the weekend.
While speaking to the media, as relayed by Fc Inter News, Inzaghi spoke about his side’s growth since the first match-week of the tournament:
“We are in better shape, the conditions of the singles have improved. Tomorrow it does not count for the group, but it will be a match in a beautiful stadium against one of the best teams in Europe. We want to have a serious game, knowing that there will be difficulties against a very strong team and with a deep squad.”
