Inter are reportedly interested in signing Lazio defender Luiz Felipe next summer.
According to Tuttosport (via Italy24news), the Nerazzurri want to sign the 24-year-old who could be available for free next summer. Felipe’s current contract at Lazio, that sees him earn €600,000-per-year, expires in 2022.
The Brazilian wants a significant raise if he is to stay in Rome and demands a salary of €2.5m, something that Inter are capable of affording. Not to forget, Felipe has worked with Simone Inzaghi during his spell at the Biancocelesti.
The Brazilian centre-back has featured in 14 matches for Lazio this season so far, starting in all of them.
Inter have some good defenders in their squad and signing the 24-year-old would certainly fortify their backline. Over the years, their have been several transfers from Lazio to the Nerazzurri so there is a very good chance of them signing Felipe.
What’s more, he will be available for free next summer, so it would be another smart buy for Inter.
