The Nerazzurri managed to bounce back following their worrisome 2-1 defeat to Sassuolo during the mid-week fixtures with a 4-0 victory against the Granata, as skipper Lautaro Martinez found the back of the net four times, increasing his goal tally to nine goals in seven games and keeping Inter on level terms with Milan at the summit of the league with 18 points each.

Yann Sommer – 6
The Swiss international made some impressive stops in order to keep Inter within the match despite some defensive concerns.
Benjamin Pavard – 6.5
The Frenchman provided stability within the back-line with his great anticipation as he made some well-time challenges. Pavard also made some impressive runs along the flank as he was involved while charging forward with some precise passes and fine crosses.
Stefan De Vrij – 6
Although the Dutchman struggled at times to manage with the pace of the opposition, De Vrij made some impressive passes when building out of the back and maintained composure when defending some deadly attacks.
Francesco Acerbi – 5.5
The former Lazio defender was sloppy towards the end of the first half as he had a hard time keeping up with the pace of Paulo Sousa’s attackers. However, the Italian international prevailed towards the later stages of the game with his strong physical presence.
Carlos Augusto – 6.5
The former Monza wing-back was eccentric on the flanks, causing mayhem with his blistering pace and impressive touches. The Brazilian collected a fine assist, centering the ball for Lautaro Martinez with an inch-perfect cross.
Hakan Çalhanoğlu – 6
The Turkish midfielder made some fine passes while in the build phase and switched the play in a fine matter on several occasions with some impressive diagonal balls. However, holding midfielder seemed to have lacked energy towards the half-hour mark of the second half.
Nicolò Barella – 6.5
The Italian play-maker made some fine combinations within the central area of the pitch and worked relentlessly off the ball to recuperate possession.
Davy Klaassen – 5.5
The Dutch international struggled at the beginning of his Inter debut as he had some poor touches on the ball. However, the former Ajax midfielder grew into the match with some crisp passes and fine movements within the attack.
Alexis Sanchez – 6
Despite not finding the back of the net, the Chilean was sharp on the ball as he manoeuvred past his markers in tight areas on numerous occasions and utilized his link-up play in fine fashion.
Marcus Thuram – 6
The Frenchman made impressive runs that were very well-timed, allowing himself to be found in very promising goal-scoring positions. However, Thuram lacked the finishing touch in the final third, squandering numerous occasions. Once Lautaro Martinez entered the pitch, the 25-year-old forward portrayed glimpses of his usual self as he set up the Argentine with an impeccable pass across the box.

The Armenian shifted momentum with his pace on the ball and strong technical ability when moving forward. The former Roma midfielder added fluidity in Inter’s attacking play with his direct passes up the pitch.

Lautaro Martinez – 9
The Argentine was flawless as he made an immediate impact on the match, scoring four goals with his fine composure in front of goal and combined very well with the midfield when his back was facing the goal. The Inter skipper demonstrated his strong technical ability to beat his markers and picked out his teammates with some exquisite passes in-between the lines.
