Juventus to Target Milan Duo in Winter Transfer Window

Juventus managed to lure in long-linked Sassuolo talent Manuel Locatelli and a host of other youngsters, but it seems like the Bianconeri management remains unsatisfied with how the summer transfer market materialized.

According to Corriere della Sera (via Calciomercato), Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli has been linked to a move away from San Siro as his contract expires at the end of the current season and Juventus are at the forefront for his signature on a potential free transfer, along with Lazio. The Turin club are interested in finding a backup for the aging Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.

The former Roma youth product is reportedly a childhood fan of historic rivals Lazio and a move to either the Biancocelesti or the Bianconeri cannot be ruled out.

Additionally, with the speculated departure of Weston McKennie, Juventus are keen on reinforcing their midfield and are on a lookout for Locatelli’s partner in the center.

Amid such speculation, Milan’s Ismael Bennacer is another target for the Turin giants, according to Fichajes.net (via TuttoJuve). The 23-year-old Algerian has fallen out of contention under Stefano Pioli after the emergence of Sandro Tonali in the central midfield position.

Bennacer has a transfermarkt value of €38m and also has Atletico Madrid’s sights on him.
