“There are 99 percent chances I will retire next year. I wanted to thank you everybody that allowed me to finish my career here. I do not think there is the possibility of continuing to play any longer. The decision has been made. I want to empty the tank and conquer something important in the upcoming season. I do not know what the future holds for me, I am not think about anything yet and I just want to have fun. Afterward, I will weigh my options.”

Radu has an optimistic outlook on Lazio.

“After seeing the newcomers, I am confident about 2022/2023. The goal we set for ourselves is to improve last year’s position. Therefore, we aim to finish in the top four. The club has grown a lot and has operated well on the transfer market this summer too. Many fans are here with us. We are working hard every day in training, luckily there has not been any injury despite the poor conditions of the pitch. I wish to congratulate president Claudio Lotito for his 18 years at the helm.”
