Mac Allister Father Welcomes Recent Ties to Juventus

Juventus have reportedly laid their eyes on Alexis Mac Allister, whom Massimiliano Allegri would like to target if they lost some midfielders. His father Carlos spoke about the Bianconeri’s interest to Tuttomercatoweb.

“They are a great club, one of the most prestigious in the world. I can only say that we will analyze the proposals we’ll get with Brighton, and then we’ll decide his future. He’s very comfortable in England and he’s grateful to his side for giving him the opportunity to play in Europe. But we can’t set a price tag and reveal who contacted us. We can’t divulge information that could jeopardize imminent negotiations, if they exist.”

While Mac Allister would sign off on the destination, Juventus still have to clear significant hurdles to get him, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs. It’s not easy to negotiate with the Seagulls, which are having a strong season. There have been no concrete offers for the Argentinian midfielder so far, only inquiries, as for instance from Atletico Madrid.

The Old Lady need to cash in on at least Weston McKennie to fund addition in the role. Per Sportitalia, Roberto De Zerbi told the management of the English team that selling the star would be detrimental to their ambitions.

Our Take on Juventus and Mac Allister

Having the green light of the player is an important step, but it’s too little to consider the deal actually feasible. The numbers for the prospective transfer haven’t emerged yet. It surely wouldn’t be cheap, and he’s more likely to end up in another Premier League side or Spain. The Bianconeri would have a shot only if they somehow got some money for Adrien Rabiot too.
