Milan are monitoring the development of a 20-year-old Belgian prodigy, who came into the limelight during Club Brugge’s resilient display against a star-studded Paris Saint-Germain side in the Champions League.
The name in contention for a potential future transfer is Charles De Ketelaere, a youth academy product of the Bruges based club.
According to reports from Calciomercato, the Rossoneri have De Ketelaere on their sights, especially after his performance against PSG. The attacking midfielder registered a pass success rate of 89.3%, 3 shots, 5 key passes and one successful dribble throughout his 90 minutes on the field.
The Belgian has a contract with the club until 2023 and a current market value of €16m, according to transfermarkt.
He has already impressed in the Jupiler Pro League so far, scoring 3 goals and registering 2 assists in 7 games.
As a playmaker, De Ketelaere fits Milan’s bill and would suit the club’s style of play.
It remains to be seen how this is played out in the transfer market.
