Torino striker Andrea Belotti’s affection for Milan has never been a secret, as the Azzurri forward grew up supporting the Rossoneri. Also known as Il Gallo, the forward has etched quite a spell in Turin, going on to become their eighth highest goalscorer of all time – netting 108 times in 240 appearances for the Granata since joining in 2015/16 from Palermo.
However, with his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, Belotti looks highly likely to leave Torino for a new challenge. He has been heavily linked to several clubs in the past, including Inter, Atalanta and Milan. New revelations by PianetaMilan put the Diavolo in the spotlight for his signature on a free transfer, as they look to bolster their attacking ranks.
The reports indicate that initial contacts are ‘ongoing’ between the two parties and the Milan are convinced that he will not renew his contract in all likelihood.
The 28-year-old maintains his boyhood aspiration of donning the Rossoneri jersey one day and this opportunity also presents itself in favor of Milan, who will be getting the experienced EURO 2020 winner on a Bosman deal.
