Milan Likely to Snub La Liga Pair Despite Whispers

Milan have been proposed a pair of La Liga players, Mario Hermoso and Ez Abde, but are unlikely to act on it. The defender’s agent is offering his client, who’ll be out of contract in June, to a few teams. The Rossoneri are searching for a center-back, as they’ll likely move on from Simon Kjaer, but they prefer younger options, Calciomercato reports.

They will make another attempt for Alessandro Buongiorno, but it won’t be easy to sign him. Maxence Lacroix is a more realistic target. They are also after a young prodigy, Boca Juniors’ Aaron Anselmino, who could be brought in regardless of their other moves at the position.

While Hermoso doesn’t fit the profile of the players generally signed by Milan, Abde does, but they are already set in his role. According to AS, the attacker will most likely depart Betis since he had a limited role in this campaign. He has appeared 32 times, scoring 5 goals, but has started just on 5 occasions.

The Rossoneri were interested in the past but signed three wingers last summer: Christian Pulisic, Samuel Chukwueze, and Noah Okafor, on top of Rafael Leao.

Betis paid €7.5M to acquire the Moroccan from Barcelona, which have a 50 percent re-sale clause. Therefore, the offers would have to be higher than €15M for Los Verderones to turn a profit. The 22-year-old spent a season on loan at Osasuna last year. He has 60 La Liga appearances under his belt.
