Napoli Among Clubs Interested in Signing Boga

Napoli and Atalanta are reportedly interested in signing Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the 24-year-old wants to leave during the winter transfer window with the Partenopei interested in signing him. Atalanta have also been linked to Boga lately. There is also a chance that Fiorentina could make an attempt to rope him in, as could clubs from outside Serie A.

Boga wants to continue in Italy but he will also evaluate any offers that come from abroad.

The 24-year-old has been a regular for Sassuolo since joining them from Chelsea in 2018, amassing 18 goals and ten assists in 97 appearances across all competitions so far. An injury has limited Boga to only eight appearances this season with three assists to his name.

The Ivorian international would be a suitable addition to Napoli’s squad. Whether Boga would receive game time or not, is a matter of conjecture but he’d add depth to the Partenopei’s attack.
