The Ligue 1 match between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais was suspended after Lyon’s team bus was attacked with stones by Marseille fans as it made its way into the Stade Velodrome. Italian manager Fabio Grosso was badly injured, as images appeared of the World Cup winner’s bloodied face after what took place.

Julen Lopetegui and Olivier Glasner are in the running alongside Gattuso over a Lyon move. The Italian is a free agent since leaving Valencia last season.
