Three-Way Race Emerges for Highly-Rated Ajax Right Wing-Back

Milan are currently in the race with Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona for the signature of Ajax youth product Noussair Mazraoui. The 24-year-old turns into a free agent in the summer as he will see his three-year contract extension, signed in 2019, come to an end. So far, there has been no developments between the Eredivisie giants and Marzraoui regarding a renewal deal.

The Moroccan-Dutch right-back is firmly in the spotlight to see the exit door at Amsterdam Arena, and the Rossoneri are in pole position to lure the talented flanker to the San Siro. According to reports from De Telegraaf reporter Mike Verweij (via MilanNews), Milan’s earlier offers were disregarded by the player but now, Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini are said to have made a renewed one.

The defender is expected to decide on his future by the end of next month. The Morocco international has spent his whole career at Ajax, first coming through the club’s youth team Jong Ajax, before being promoted to the first team in 2017.

He has 10 goals in 130 appearances for the Dutch giants.

All three interested teams are keen on bolstering their right flank and Mazraoui’s availability in the transfer market will mean that there will be a tight race.
