After an extremely active winter transfer window, Roma continue to draw out their squad for next season as they show interest in acquiring the promising Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic.
Since the Austrian’s €2M transfer move to the Bundesliga side from Admira Wacker, the 24 year-old marksman has scored 43 goals in 110 appearances across all competitions with Stuttgart.
With his contract set to expire in the summer of 2023, via Transfermarkt, the Giallorossi are considering to submit a bid around the region of €20M in order to lure the young starlet to the Stadio Olimpico next season.
As it stands, Mourinho’s side is currently short on options within the line of attack. Apart from Tammy Abraham, the Giallorossi only possess Eldor Shomurodov and Felix Afena-Gyan as players who could serve as options up-front.
Therefore, the club officials are eager to pursue the signing of the Austrian international as they strongly believe he can play a pivotal role within the long-term project of the Serie A giants.
Unfortunately for Mourinho’s side, the promising starlet’s impressive displays over the past couple seasons with Stuttgart have attarcted the interest of Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, along with West Ham from the Premier League.
