Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona in Juventus Pre-Season Plans

Juventus are already planning their pre-season phase that is scheduled to take place after the culmination of the ongoing UEFA Nations League tournament. The Bianconeri reportedly have three friendlies lined up for next month – all potentially against the main three Spanish giants.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb), the Turin heavyweights will face El Clasico duo Real Madrid and Barcelona first, most likely in the United States of America, before they head to Israel to take on Atletico Madrid in Tel Aviv.

A summer overhaul is in the books of the Juventus management as they prepare for a domestic resurgence after a rather dismal 2021/22 season that saw them finish fourth behind Napoli in Serie A.

Despite some convincing results towards the end of the campaign, it was how it started off that mattered the most, as they struggled to rack in goals in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo. They will look to overcome those pressures now that they have highly-rated striker Dusan Vlahovic in their ranks.

It was earlier rumored that Juventus’ pre-season friendlies would involve reigniting European Super League plans along with the two other main patrons of the hegemonic competition – Real Madrid and Barcelona.
