Bodo-Glimt attacker Ola Solbakken is close to joining Roma in the winter, as per latest reports from Corriere dello Sport, having been followed by the capital club last summer. The Norwegian winger has been on the radars of the Giallorossi ever since last season, when the Italians were astonishingly beaten 6-1 by the Glimt last October in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stages – a tournament Roma went on to win.
Roma have not experienced the best of attacking starts in Serie A, having scored only 13 goals in 11 games – seven less than Udinese who are a place lower than them in the league table.\
Not just Kim Min Jae deal. Napoli are also closing on agreement to sign Ola Solbakken on free transfer in January, as his contract with Bodø/Glimt will not be extended. ??? #Napoli

Solbakken’s contract with Bodo/Glimt expires on December 31, and the Giallorossi are keen on bringing him in on a free transfer. The 23-year-old is touted to earn around €1M net per annum on a four-year deal that will end in the summer of 2027.
Roma are expected to beat Napoli to the signing.
The deal is however expected to be announced only after the World Cup in January, as Roma will look to enter the top four before the league shuts close for the biggest football event in the world.
