Agent Dishes on Atalanta, Milan and Juventus Youngsters

Atalanta striker Roberto Piccoli was the top-ranked Italian in the Golden Boy standings, while Pedri took home the award. His agent Beppe Riso addressed the accomplishment: “It is a nice satisfaction. I think that they will face each other many times in the future, and maybe even play together. His ultimate goal is to be called up for a World Cup, and I am sure he will succeed.”

The representative weighed in on two Milan youngsters in an interview with Tuttosport: “Lorenzo Colombo is certainly more ready, and he already scored in Europe with the Rossoneri. He is growing a lot at SPAL this season. Daniel Maldini is part of the future of the club. The fact that he is the son of the director does not change the way he is handled. Having that kind of example is certainly very helpful. But Paolo is very rigorous in separating between his roles as a father and an executive.”

Nicolò Rovella has been linked to a move to Juventus in January, as the club could try to end his loan spell early: “He is a quality player, and he is proving it this season. His data are clear. He has shown that he would be worthy of joining the Bianconeri. We will see when it will happen. The injury was a shame as he was playing great.”

Riso also commented on the future of a former Atalanta ace Alejandro Gomez: “We are not discussing his return to Serie A. He is very happy in Sevilla.”
