Brazil Coach Tite Explains Juventus Continassa Choice for Training

Brazil are currently preparing for their upcoming FIFA World Cup matches in Italy. The Selecao have chosen Juventus’ state-of-the-art Continassa training facility to warm up for the showdown event in Qatar that begins next week. All 26 players called up for the tournament arrived for training on Monday, with only Neymar and Marquinhos arriving late due to a technical flight problem for their Paris-Turin journey.

The five-time world champions will utilize all of Juventus’ facilities during the five-day camp, including the club’s J-Hotel, right off the main pitch. They are scheduled to stay until 20 November, when they will fly to Doha.

Coach Tite believes the features at Bianconeri’s home will allow them to prepare for the World Cup to the best of their abilities.

“We have a guideline in the preparation of the Brazilian team, we always strive for excellence. And here it is a question of preparing for a World Cup in a top-class place. The Juventus training centre offers this, in addition to the logistical facilities.”

Brazil will take on Serbia first in Group G on November 24, before playing Switzerland four days later. Their final group game encounter arrives against Cameroon on December 2.
