Five Players Who Need to Leave Juventus this Summer

After another largely disappointing campaign at the Allianz Stadium, Juventus must ring some serious changes to their squad this summer. Luckily for the the Bianconeri, their prestigious name along with Champions League football can still lure some decent talent towards Turin. However, Federico Cherubini and company must first chop the deadwood in order to make for the new arrivals and keep the wage bill in check. So here are five players who need to leave Juventus during the upcoming summer transfer market.

Note: The list will only include the players who still have a contract with Juventus, and won’t take into account the ones who will leave once their deals expire at the end of June (Giorgio Chiellini, Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi).

Alex Sandro (Left-Back)

Even though he’s not terribly old, Alex Sandro has been on a steady decline in the past few years and is now a shadow of his former self. Therefore, the management has to find a younger and more dynamic replacement this summer.

However, offloading the Brazilian at this point is easier said than done, because finding a suitor that is willing to match his hefty wages remains an extremely challenging task for Juventus who will probably be stuck with the left-back until his contract expires next summer.

Nonetheless, if the opportunity presents itself, the management shouldn’t think twice.

Arthur Melo (Central Midfielder)

Now we reached the Old Lady’s Achilles Heel: The midfield department.

First on the list is a talented yet unproductive player. Since making the switch to Turin in exchange for Miralem Pjanic, things never quite worked in Arthur Melo’s favor. Maurizio Sarri is reportedly fond of him, but was given his marching orders before the completion of the deal.

The Brazilian struggled to interpret the Regista role, and perhaps he was never meant to play in Italian football.

Four Players Who Need to Leave Inter This Summer

Adrien Rabiot (Central Midfielder)

After three seasons at Juventus, it has become evident that Adrien Rabiot is far from being the complete midfielder as advertised during his early years at Paris Saint Germain.

In fact, the Frenchman has some obvious limitations in his game, and has never been able to justify his grand wages.

With one year left on his contract, this is the Old Lady’s last chance to make some profit from a player who offered little on the pitch all while draining the club’s coffers.

Aaron Ramsey (Central Midfielder)

Astonishingly, singing one free agent midfielder for hefty wages and little return on the pitch wasn’t enough for former sporting director Fabio Paratici, and along with Rabiot came Aaron Ramsey.

If the Frenchman’s spell has been disappointing, than this one turned out to be utterly disastrous. Aside from a handful of goals in his two and half seasons in Turin, the Welshman spent his time either on the treatment table, the bench or putting on some underwhelming performances on the pitch.

Following his under-par loan stint at Rangers, the Italians probably lost all hope of finding him a buyer, so at this point, an early contract termination would be the best outcome out of an unpleasant situation.

Five Players that Milan Should Offload this Summer

Moise Kean (Striker)

While the fans rejoiced following his return last summer, Moise Kean failed to recapture the charm of his initial stint at the club. The Italian still has another season on loan from Everton, afterwards, Juventus have the obligation to buy his outrights.

However, the management isn’t eager to splash 35 million euros for the services of a misfiring striker, especially following the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic.

Therefore, the Bianconeri must find a solution for everyone’s sake, which would open up some space for a newcomer (perhaps Giacomo Raspadori) and allow the 22-year-old to search for his finishing touch elsewhere.
