Though we’re still in the early stages of the 2024/25 season, the devastated Milan supporters are already running out of patience with the team’s disastrous Serie A start. The Rossoneri ultras, Curva Sud, can no longer contain their anger, as evidenced by their latest protest against the club’s management.
The most die-hard Milan supporters have called other fans to join a mass rally against the club hierarchy before the kick-off of Saturday’s home clash against Venezia.
“The start of the season of our Milan was disappointing, to say the least,” the Curva Sud’s statement read, as per Calciomercato. “Our ambitions are not these, nothing and no one can be justified for the embarrassing performance shown in the first three games.
“There are no more extenuating circumstances or lightning rods for anyone, everyone must assume their responsibilities, no one excluded!
“We invite all the Rossoneri people to meet at 18:45 in front of the bus entrance ramp to make the club, coach, and players understand that September represents an already decisive crossroads for our season! With Milan always in our hearts!”
Milan went winless in their opening three Serie A matches for the first time in the three-points-per-win era before September’s international break came to Paulo Fonseca’s rescue. The new Rossoneri boss is already under tremendous pressure despite only joining the club in July.
Anything other than three points against newcomers Venezia would likely spell the end of the Portuguese manager’s disappointing stint at San Siro.
