Inter Among Clubs Interested in Signing Bereszynski

Inter are reportedly among the clubs that are interested in signing Sampdoria right-back Bartosz Bereszynski.

According to Genoa-based newspaper Il Secolo XIX (via Calciomercato.com), the Polish international’s current contract runs out in 2023 and he is yet to sign a new one. Earlier, Bereszysnki’s agent had reached an agreement with Sampdoria’s then-sporting director Carlo Osti.

However, Daniele Faggiano took over and made some changes to the budget that could see the Pole get paid a reduced salary if he signs a new deal with the club. Bereszynski’s entourage could well reject this proposal. Inter, Roma and Bologna are among the clubs who are interested in signing the full-back.

Bereszynski, who is valued at €6m according to Transfermarkt, has been a regular for Sampdoria over the past few seasons, amassing a goal and seven assists so far.

The 29-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Blucerchiati in 2021/22 with two assists to his name. Inter’s current right-back options include Matteo Darmian and Denzel Dumfries, so it goes without saying that Bereszynski would mostly be a squad player if he signs for the Nerazzurri.
