Inter Linked to Soon-To-Be Free Agent from Juventus

Versatile Juventus right flanker Juan Cuadrado looks to be heading towards the exit door at the Allianz Stadium, as his contract with the Bianconeri expires in June 2022 – at the end of the current season.

A surprising name has emerged as potential contenders for his signature. According to TUTTOmercatoweb, bitter Derby d’Italia rivals Inter are reportedly hot on heels for the Colombian right wing-back cum midfielder.

The former Fiorentina and Chelsea man currently earns €5m net per season in wages and Juventus are keen on relieving some finances off the club’s books in order to accommodate potential new transfers. Also, the fact that Cuadrado in entering the twilight years of his career plays a huge role in the decision.

However, the Nerazzurri are interested in offering the Colombian veteran a way out of Turin. The Milan giants would offer Cuadrado a two-year contract deal at a marginally reduced wage structure of €4.5m net per season.

As one of Juventus’ most influential players in recent seasons, Cuadrado’s exit to Inter would seem a bit harsh on the Bianconeri, whereas for the Nerazzurri, it would be a win-win situation.

He has appeared 246 times for La Vecchia Signora over the span of seven seasons.
