Inter Touch Base with Camp of Fiorentina Striker Kouamé

The market for future free agents is heating up, and teams and agents are setting up future moves. The players who’ll reach that status next June can sign a pre-contract with a new team from January on. Michelangelo Minieri, the representative of Christian Kouamé, was recently spotted at the Inter HQ, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

The Nerazzurri are always very attentive to potential Bosman deals. He has been tipped to extend his Fiorentina contract a few times. However, he has yet to do so.

Kouamé actually already played at Inter when he was a youngster back in 2015/2015. He registered 19 appearances with their Primavera team while on loan from Prato. He wasn’t retained and blossomed at Cittadella a couple of years later before Genoa brought him to the top flight and Fiorentina acquired him for €15.5M in 2020.

The winger has been a rotational piece with Vincenzo Italiano in the dugout in the past couple of campaigns after returning from a turn at Anderlecht. He has starred 13 times so far, scoring once.

Our Take on Inter and Kouamé

They are likely merely doing their due diligence, but having a pacey attacker backing up Marcus Thuram would be a better plan than going with Marko Arnautovic and Mehdi Taremi behind the starters. But, if the wages are affordable and don’t need to spend to buy, they could perhaps roll with a deeper attack next season.
