Paul Pogba played an inconsequential role in Manchester United mustering their lowest-ever Premier League points tally – 58 – with one match in the season remaining.
The French World Cup winner is at the end of his six-year contract with the Red Devils and it is highly likely he will leave Old Trafford for greener pastures, with ex-club Juventus also in the picture for his signature.
The 29-year-old is reportedly the main target of two clubs – Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain – according to TuttoJuve. Both have identified midfield positions in dire need of reinforcements ahead of next season in order to possess a competitive spirit. Real Madrid’s stance is however unknown, as they seek a rather young midfield player, most probably with sights set on Aurelien Tchouameni.
Pogba spent four years in the Bianconeri colours, scoring 34 goals in 178 caps for the Turin outfit. He is will remembered among the Juventus faithful for his time at the Allianz Stadium, before embarking on a soon-to-end six-year stint with the Red Devils.
He has 39 goals in 226 appearances for Manchester United.
