Juventus Fans Unhappy with Giuntoli Over One Crucial Decision

Even though it’s a near-certainty that Juventus will feature in next season’s Champions League, the situation is getting out of hand in Turin. According to Tuttojuve, a significant portion of the Bianconeri faithful has turned against sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli over his stance on Massimiliano Allegri’s future.

Juventus are on the verge of securing a top-four finish in Serie A. But regardless of the team’s underwhelming form in 2024, Allegri’s defensive-minded football had seen him fall out of favor with the club fans long ago. Often accused of ‘killing’ the entertainment, the Italian manager has overseen Juve’s least prolific top-flight campaign in the 21st century.

Amid talks of Federico Chiesa’s potential exit due to his strained relationship with Allegri, Juventus supporters have hoped to wave goodbye to the former Milan coach. They have been vocal about their discontent with the under-fire boss. Frustration boiled over after a 2-2 draw at Cagliari on Friday.

However, the club’s financial state is far from ideal, meaning they can’t afford the luxury of sacking their underperforming tactician. On top of that, Giuntoli has reiterated the Turin powerhouse’s belief in Allegri. In light of his statement, Juventus fans have swamped social media with hashtags #Giuntoliout.

Bolgona’s Thiago Motta has emerged as a potential candidate to take Allegri’s job next term. Some reports have even gone as far as to claim Juventus have a verbal agreement with the 42-year-old. But it looks like Allegri will remain at the helm whether fans like it or not.
