Juventus Not Yet Completely Resigned to Losing Rabiot

Juventus will make one final attempt to keep Adrien Rabiot, whose contract is up on June 30^th. The Frenchman previously indicated that playing the Champions League would be a diriment element for his future.

According to Sky, the Bianconeri will offer a one-year one at his current wages rather than seeking a long-term deal. They can still benefit from fiscal advantages on it. Manchester United recently resurfaced as a possible landing spot.

If Juventus didn’t come to terms with Rabiot, they would target Davide Frattesi as a replacement. Inter and Roma are tracking him as well. Sassuolo set a €30M valuation and are open to receiving youngsters in return. The Bianconeri could dangle Filippo Ranocchia, Matias Soulé, or Koni De Winter. Their rivals have interesting prospects to offer as well, though.

The Old Lady is tending to a few other uncertain situations. Alex Sandro got a year automatically added to his contract in previous weeks. However, he’s not a lock to stay if the club finds a suitable destination. The officials are in talks with Juan Cuadrado, who’s currently slated to become a free agent in less than a month.

It would be an unexpected twist given the sums involved and his previous words, but you never know. He might not find the same centrality he had in Turin elsewhere. There’s a chance he’ll do the team a solid, agreeing to a bridge contract so they can profit on his sale. Between Cuadrado and Alex Sandro, the former is less over the hill, but his role should ideally be less prominent.
