Juventus Touted to Bid for Manchester United Outcast

As Juventus plot for reinforcements in the January transfer window, an unlikely name has been tipped for a move to Turin.

Manchester United outcast Anthony Martial, who has suffered from injuries and the lack of game time, is being touted for a move to the Allianz Stadium, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FourFourTwo).

Martial has been pushed down the pecking order at Old Trafford – first under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, followed now by German coach Ralf Ragnick. This has prompted the Frenchman to push for a move away from England, as echoed his agent Phillippe Lamboley who recently spoke to Sky Sports News and conveyed his player’s decision of wanting to move away in January in search of first-team opportunities.

Juventus reportedly want the France international on a loan deal, with the option to make it permanent at the end of the current season in May/June 2022, when his contract officially expires in Manchester.

Atletico Madrid are another team on the block interested in Martial’s services, with the Rojiblancos pitting a swap-deal that may involve Geoffrey Kongdobia, Kieran Trippier or Joao Felix going the other way round.
