Juventus are putting the finishing touches on the Dusan Vlahovic deal, but they will not be able to make it official right away. The star striker tested positive for COVID-19 before the last Serie A game. He will have to isolate for a few more days.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Bianconeri have set up the medicals for Saturday, hoping he will have turned negative by then. The Serbian center-forward will turn 22 Friday. The Old Lady are perfecting the agreements with the Viola and his entourage. They will meet with his agent Darko Ristic later today.

His entourage often clashed with the Fiorentina brass and was instrumental in his departure. Juventus have an agreement in principle with Vlahovic on personal terms. They now need to iron out the commissions, which will be hefty, and other details of the operation. He will earn €7M per season until 2026, on a par with Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. He was making less than €1M thus far. Having notably turned down an extension, he was still on his original contract.

Between the fee and the bonuses, the Bianconeri will spend around €75M for the Serie A co-leading scorer. His desire to move to Turin was key in facilitating the deal and keeping foreign suitors at bay. According to Calcio e Finanza, Juventus will invest on Vlahovic most of the transfer market budget for the next three years generated by the recent €400M capital increase. Further purchases will have to be financed through sales.
