Long-Linked Brest Talent Set for Milan Move in January

After failed attempts to lure a highly-rated French youngster in the recently concluded summer transfer window, Milan will return in January to complete what they initially set their eyes on – Brest talent Romain Faivre.

According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are keen on reinforcing their right wing and there’s no better option on the market than Faivre, who has already been contacted by the Italian club’s management. Having long been on Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara’s wishlist, the 23-year-old is finally set to move to Milan on a four-year deal after talks were reportedly held with the player’s agent.

An initial offer of €12m plus €3m in bonuses was rejected by the relegation-bound Ligue 1 club, who look like they want to wait until next summer to sell their star talisman because of their current predicament in the French league.

The versatile forward has a transfermarkt value of €13m.

His profile immaculately match what Milan are looking for and a move to Serie A will undoubtedly be a step up in his young career.
