Milan Set to Offload Duo in January Transfer Window

After being active for much of the summer transfer window, Milan will look to keep up the momentum when the winter transfer window resumes in January – according to Calciomercato.com.

The reports suggest that two players specifically – Andrea Conti and Samu Catillejo with both leave the Rossoneri ranks as they are not part of Stefano Pioli’s plans for the rest of the 2021/22 season. The Milan management is expected to list both the players on the transfer market in a bid to relieve wages and garner as much returns as they can.

Conti’s contract expires in June 2022, thus allowing him to sign a pre-contract agreement in case clubs are interested in getting him. Whereas, Castillejo is expected to leave on loan as his contract expires a year later in June 2023.

They both were linked with clubs throughout the summer but moves for them never came into fruition.

Milan resume their season against Lazio on September 12, after the international break comes to a halt.
