Milan are sorting out the future of their linchpins, and Ismael Bennacer isn’t considered untouchable, with Saudi Arabia looming as a potential landing spot, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed.
The midfielder is likely to end up in the emerging league eventually. He’d be a strong cultural fit. At this stage, he plans to finish his career there, departing the Rossoneri in a couple of seasons or maybe in 2027 when his contract runs out.
On the other hand, the project might get accelerated. Bennacer could get an offer from Saudi Arabia next summer already, and Milan would ponder it. He’s coming off a rough season where he was hindered by a massive knee injury.
He commented after the Torino game.
“I’ll do my best to be a leader next year. I don’t speak a lot out of the pitch, while I give my whole on it and will always do. We can’t settle for second place. We want to win. I try to improve each season. I’ve been here for six years. I have to learn a lot to be an example.”
