Milan Target Thuram Expected to Finalize Future Club

With the summer transfer market officially in full swing following the end of the European season, teams are frantically running around for reinforcements, and Milan are no different. With the entire management facing reforms, strategizing on buying a center-forward is of utmost importance for the Rossoneri. Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram is in pole position.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are patiently awaiting Thuram’s decision on his future, as he leaves Gladbach as a free agent after four years leading the frontline. Paris Saint-Germain are in the race as well, but the Rossoneri have been trying to lure the forward for quite a while now.

While PSG would be the most logical choice from an economic standpoint, the prospect of starring at San Siro for the Red Devils is an opportunity of a lifetime. Thuram is expected to take a final call by the end of this week regarding his future.

Newcastle United, Inter and Juventus have also been linked with a Bosman move for Thuram.

Milan are not oblivious to the fact that PSG could very well lure Thuram, which is why several targets have been identified, including Porto’s Mehdi Teremi and West Ham United’s Gianluca Scamacca.
