Antonio Mirante officially became a Milan player late on Wednesday. The goalkeeper gave his first interview to the club’s TV. “I am very happy for the way this call arrived. It provides extra motivation. It came out of the blue, but I have the experience and awareness to avoid panicking.”
“The negotiation was super quick. They reached out to me after the injury to Mike Maignan. I wish him good luck, and we wish to have him back soon. There was not any doubt about accepting the Milan offer on my part.”
Mirante continued: “At my age, it is only fair for me to bring some human qualities to the locker room. It already looks top-notch from that standpoint from the outside. They appear to have great enthusiasm and a positive attitude, which is crucial in my mind.”
