Antonio Mirante Relishing Sudden Opportunity Given to Him by Milan

Antonio Mirante officially became a Milan player late on Wednesday. The goalkeeper gave his first interview to the club’s TV. “I am very happy for the way this call arrived. It provides extra motivation. It came out of the blue, but I have the experience and awareness to avoid panicking.”

“The negotiation was super quick. They reached out to me after the injury to Mike Maignan. I wish him good luck, and we wish to have him back soon. There was not any doubt about accepting the Milan offer on my part.”

Mirante continued: “At my age, it is only fair for me to bring some human qualities to the locker room. It already looks top-notch from that standpoint from the outside. They appear to have great enthusiasm and a positive attitude, which is crucial in my mind.”

“I have never worked with Stefano Pioli, but we faced each other a few times. He always seemed very prepared. I think he arrived at Milan at the right moment, and they grew together. In my opinion, their partnership will last for a long time.”

“The Rossoneri always play with strong pace and know what to do. They have a precise identity and clear ideas. I chatted with Alessandro Florenzi and met Alessio Romagnoli in the past. I am sure I will not have any problem fitting in.”

Mirante will be personally coached by Dida: “He was an incredible goalkeeper. During the course of my career, I have realized that you can always improve. You build your skills brick by brick, and you are never complete. I think he will give me a lot and help me identify my flaws. I am looking forward to meeting the fans in San Siro.”
