Napoli and Lazio Enduring Statistically Pitiful Starts

Napoli and Lazio failed to win again in the most recent Serie A round, deepening their ongoing woes. The Biancocelesti have collected 21 points in 15 rounds: in their last 10 seasons, they had done worse just in 2015/2016. They finished eight that year, Opta relays (via Radiosei).

The title holders fell on the road on Friday but have been particularly lacking at home, OneFootball informs. They haven’t prevailed since September 27th, when they smashed Udinese. They’ll have a big chance to atone as they take on Sporting Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Like Lazio, Napoli hadn’t been this deficient in years. They are registering their worst point average (0.88) on their own turf since 1997/1998, 26 years ago (0.80). Their winning percentage (22.2%) is the lowest since the 2003/2004 season (20%).

The Partenopei have had the worst track record in front of their fans of the entire Aurelio De Laurentiis era. They have logged two wins, two draws, and five losses already at the Stadio Maradona.

The Azzurri have conceded 13 goals and given up 17 in nine home fixtures. They have picked up just 8 out of a potential 27 points. Napoli have been defeated by Lazio, Real Madrid, Fiorentina, Empoli, and Inter,  shared the spoils with Milan and Union Berlin and beat just Sassuolo in the opener besides Udinese. They had come out on top in nine of the first ten matches, drawing in the remaining one, in this respect last season.
