Pierre Kalulu Pens Contract Extension with Milan Until 2027

Milan have confirmed a new deal for Pierre Kalulu, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2027. The French defender would have seen his deal expire in June 2025, but the latest renewal adds a further two years to his stay. The Rossoneri have released an official statement announcing the penning of te extension.

The upper management has also hiked his salary from €800k net per season to €2M. Kalulu expressed his satisfaction at the confidence placed in him by the club.

“I am very happy with the renewal. I feel a lot of affection from the fans, I see a great love for me and this leaves me calm and positive. In Milan I am very happy, we are like a family. After winning the Scudetto you are more and more proud of this shirt. I always want to do more, I am a person who has the humility to understand when he does things well and when he does them less well. I am a perfectionist and I always think about giving my best on the pitch. Perfect doesn’t exist, but I always have to improve.” (via PianetaMilan)

The Lyon product academy’s renewal means that Milan have now cemented another piece of the Scudetto-winning side into a long-term deal – an eighth renewal for the reigning Italian champions in 2022 including coach Stefano Pioli. Kalulu joins Theo Hernandez, Matteo Gabbia, Fikayo Tomori, Tommaso Pobega, Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic as renewed deals this year.
