Zielinski: “Other UCL Teams Must Be Afraid to Meet Napoli”

Napoli cruised to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League thanks to a 5-0 aggregate win over Eintracht Frankfurt, and Partenopei midfielder Piotr Zielinski believes his side can go all the way given they play to their strengths.

The Polish midfielder spoke to Sky Sports (via FCInterNews) following his side’s 3-0 victory at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

“We are happy for our fans, as they are always with us and give us a hand. The club deserves it. We are happy but we know that we can still do a lot. We want to do our best, now there will be two more games, then it is obvious that everyone wants to go all the way.

Zielinski stressed on the fact that other remaining teams in the UCL should be afraid of facing Napoli.

“We are strong, whoever we take we want to go through. They are all great teams, we can play against all of them, we are aware of our strength. We will be ready to fight. The others must be afraid to meet Napoli, we are fine and it shows.”

Napoli are arguably the surprise pick of the lot among the final eight teams. The Partenopei could face one of Real Madrid, Milan, Inter, Porto, Benfica, Manchester City or Chelsea in the next round.
