Premier League Giants to Tussle Italian Clubs for Fiorentina Marksman

21-year-old Fiorentina marksman Vlahovic has been running riot in Serie A so far, with 16 goals from 18 appearances – racking in a goal every 101 minutes of game time. Many top clubs are linked to luring the Serbian away from Florence, among who Juventus eagerly anticipate his future status as a free agent.

Juventus are not the only Italian club in anticipation of Vlahovic’s stance, as Inter, Milan and Roma are all being linked to his transfer.

However, latest reports from BBC (via TuttoJuve) has pitched in three teams from the Premier League who will make their presence known in the race for the highly-rated center forward.

Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, who were perhaps the first English club to show interest in him – as Sergio Aguero’s direct replacement – are back in the race for his signature.

As are Arsenal, who also initially displayed admiration. The third club to be linked are the richest in the world, Newcastle United. The Magpies have been injected with a huge fortune and a bid from their end come January cannot be ruled out.

Vlahovic will turn into a free agent in June 2023, and La Viola are reportedly interested in nothing less than €70m to negotiate a deal – something that will deter the Italian clubs due to their current financial conditions.
