Roma and Juventus are pondering a direct swap transfer between two out-of-favor full-backs. Both sides are looking to boost their defensive lines for the second half of the season, and an ideal situation could materialize to satisfy their respective needs.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Voce Giallorossa), the Giallorossi and the Bianconeri could set up an exchange between Rick Karsdorp and Mattia De Sciglio. It is hypothesized that one of the reasons that could make the deal work is because of their similar annual salaries – circa €2M – and contract expiration dates i.e. in the summer of 2025.

Karsdorp and Mourinho have reached at a crossroads with one another, with Roma favoring the veteran manager’s decision to exclude him from plans.
