Aouar had been linked to Roma in previous weeks, with reports suggesting that his personal requests were hefty. Afterward, the Giallorossi turned their attention to trying to orchestrate the long-awaited reunion with Frattesi. However, the talks grounded due to a halt due to differing valuations and Financial Fair Play restrictions.
La Lupa also have Sasa Lukic as a fallback plan to their former youth product. However, Torino coach Ivan Juric slammed the door on a January departure, even though the extension talks aren’t going well (via La Stampa).
