Roma Willing to Pay Up to €16.5M for Prime Transfer Target

Roma are reportedly willing to pay €16.5m for Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot but that may not be enough.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via Sport Witness), the Giallorossi remain keen on signing the 22-year-old, who wants to leave Old Trafford and reunite with Jose Mourinho. Man United are willing to let Dalot leave but only if they receive a good sum of money for him.

The Red Devils are open to the option of a loan deal with the option to buy. Roma are willing to pay a loan fee of €1.5m with the buying clause being €13-15m, thus taking the maximum amount to €16.5m. However, that may not be enough to satisfy United.

Despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s disappointing run of form, Dalot has featured in only seven matches for the Red Devils so far. A move away from Old Trafford would do well for the 22-year-old in terms of game time and Roma would be a suitable destination for him.

The addition of Dalot would be ideal for the Giallorossi and Rick Karsdorp would have some competition.
