The five Serie A teams that will participate in the Champions League submitted their UEFA lists on Tuesday. All were forced to make some cuts considering that the 25-man squad has to comprise eight players grown in Italy and four from the youth academy.

Karlsson was also tracked heavily by fellow Serie A rivals Napoli, Fiorentina and Lazio, with the latter two being offered his services by his entourage.
