Juventus are tracking several names to replenish their midfield in January, and a pair of them might be gettable on loan, Lazar Samardzic and Fabian Ruiz. Udinese could be open for business after agreeing to such a formula with Inter last summer.
According to TuttoSport (via OneFootball), the two Bianconeri sides are in talks. The Old Lady could tender an initial €4/5M fee plus a €15/18M conditioned obligation to buy. The insertion of a youngster, for instance, Hans Nicolussi Caviglia or Marley Akè, who’s already in Friuli temporarily, could lower the disbursement. The contract of the prodigy wouldn’t be an issue since his salary is low. He’s friends with Dusan Vlahovic and Kenan Yildiz.
Juventus have been linked to Fabian Ruiz on top of Samardzic. Per Fichajes (via Mediaset), he wants out because he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with new coach Luis Enrique. He has featured in seven matches so far but started just twice.
The former Napoli star is tied to PSG until 2027 and was acquired for €23M. The fee to make the transfer permanent would have to be robust even if he joined on loan at first. Moreover, he makes €6M per year.
Our Take on Juventus, Samardzic, and Fabian Ruiz
They’ll get attached to a new midfielder every day, but these two are more believable than €40M-rated options. The Udinese starlet would restore the pizzazz they lost without Paul Pogba and wouldn’t break the bank.
