Chelsea Offer French Defender to Milan and Napoli

French defender Malang Sarr has reportedly been offered to two Italian giants, in a bid to reinstate his professional career, after being outcasted at Chelsea. He is currently back at Stamford Bridge after a loan stint at Porto’s second-string side, Porto B, after a challenging first half of the season in 2020/21 with the first-team.

Sarr, 22, initially joined the Blues as a free agent in August 2020 from Nice, after four successful seasons as a teenager – wherein he registered 119 appearances.

According to reports from CalcioNapoli24, the representatives of the youngster have proposed him for a move to Napoli and Milan.

Both clubs are on the lookout for a potential replacement for two of their respective players – Kalidou Koulibaly at Napoli, who will be missing matches due to Africa Cup of Nations and Simon Kjaer at Milan, who will the rest of the season due to a ligament injury.

Apparently, Sarr has been followed by Napoli since almost two years, when Koulibaly was thought to initially leave in a high-profile move elsewhere.

The Frenchman has a market value of €7.5m, according to transfermarkt, but it is a loan move that both clubs are seeking, in a bid to reinforce their defense as the second half of the Serie A season looms ahead.
