Final Details Currently Delaying Lozano Return at PSV

Napoli have announced the acquisition of Jesper Lindstrom, while the departure of Hirving Lozano hasn’t been finalized yet. They have concurred with PSV, but some problems arose from the player’s side.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the winger asked for three monthly wages, likely relative to the start of this season, before signing off on the move. The Azzurri request to give them up, but he doesn’t want to renounce them.

“The negotiation is at advanced stages. They are waiting for him with bated breath in Eindhoven because he left excellent memories. He has surely been more appreciated there than with the Partenopei. They rarely saw the true Chucky, maybe only with Gennaro Gattuso on the bench.”

“I think both sides benefit from the deal. PSV sign a strong player for €15M after selling him for €45M four years ago. Instead, Napoli will get a decent fee considering that his contract was up in 2024.”

“Lozano will take a slight step back compared to the Azzurri and will have lower wages. I don’t know if he’s waiting for a severance package. He’s a good guy and won’t take things too far if the agreements are in place. They are very confident about the deal in Mexico.”
