Ibra trained this week for the first time in eight months with the first team at Milanello, and is nearing a full return to playing ways. According to latest reports by Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews), he is expected to be called up by Stefano Pioli for the upcoming clash against Torino at San Siro.
Expected to start on the bench, Ibrahimovic reportedly has at most 10-15 minutes in his legs and could feature for a while in the business end of the game. Zlatan might just be the inspiration Milan are seeking at the moment following the 1-0 defeat to Inter in the Derby della Madonnina – extending their pathetic streak of winless results since the start of January.
The Rossoneri are on the fringes of European qualificaition in 6th position with 30 points, albeit with an eight point cushion over Torino.
