Inter Offered Familiar Alternative to Udinese Starlet

Lazar Samardzic is moving further away from Inter, and the Nerazzurri have started assessing other options for their midfield, such as Roberto Pereyra. The veteran is still a free agent after his Udinese contract expired in June.

According to TuttoSport (via Diretta), the prodigy’s father hired a third agent to solve the impasse and mend fences with La Beneamata. Udinese told the camp of the prodigy that the terms of the transfer wouldn’t change.

The new entourage of Samardzic is in touch with the two front offices to solve the problems. Inter might move on sooner rather than later and are mulling tendering a contract to Pereyra. He was offered to them earlier in the summer by his representative Alessandro Lucci.

La Beneamata might already have an internal option to round out their midfield. Giuseppe Riso, after handling the final details of the Carlos Augusto deal, stated that Stefano Sensi could remain part of the squad after a loan spell at Monza talking to Sportitalia.

“We’re happy he returned to the levels he was at his first year here thanks to the fact that he played 30 matches last season. There’s more than one chance he’ll stay put.”

Our Take on Inter, Samardzic, and Pereyra

It doesn’t look good when more and more people get involved. The Argentine still being without a team suggests he’s waiting for a big club.
