The first meetings for the contract renewal of Milan Skriniar have taken place at Inter’s headquarters at the Viale della Liberazione, and according to reports from Sky Sport (via FCInterNews), the talks turned out positive.
There are positive feelings following the short but crucial initial stages of negotiations between the Nerazzurri and the player’s entourage. Skriniar is said to be willing to keeping hold of his place beyond the summer of 2023, when his contract expires, despite lingering interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The French champions have been trailing the Slovak since last summer, coming agonizingly close to signing him, only to be thwarted away by the Nerazzurri’s demands.
It is understood that further meetings will take place between the two parties in order to bridge the gap between ‘supply and demand’, as reported. Inter also ponder handing the captain’s armband to the sturdy center-back along with a pay rise and lengthy contract.
