Inter’s advances for transfer target Dybala has hit a snag, taking advantage of which Milan have a clear opening to pounce on the opportunity to sign him.

Juventus Schedule Meeting with Dybala’s Agent to Discuss New Contract

The extension of Paulo Dybala is one of the top priorities this summer for Juventus. After much speculation, his agent Jorge Antun will fly to Turin early next week to re-stat the negotiation. The two parties will try to reach an agreement to continue together, Goal.com reports.

The contract of the 27-year-old forward currently expires in 2022. The player is eager to bounce back after an injury-ravaged season, where he missed a lot of time due to a knee injury. Coach Massimiliano Allegri intends to give him a pivotal role in his schemes.

It will be the first time Dybala’s entourage meets with the Juventus brass in over a year. Despite the mutual desire to come to terms, the gap between the offer and the request is still unclear, SportMediaset informs. The Bianconeri could put €10M per year on the table, while La Joya asked for €15M before the pandemic. The ousting of Fabio Paratici, who tried to sell him on a pair of occasions in the past, could help things out.

Juventus are also in talks to re-up the contract of Giorgio Chiellini. While his agent is putting pressure on the front office, there is major optimism he will stay, La Stampa informs. He will likely ink a one-year deal with an optional second season after returning from the post-Euro holidays. His representative Davide Lippi told Radio Rai yesterday: “He will go abroad if he does not stay in Turin. He would not accept any offer from other Italian clubs, even though Fiorentina tried to inquire about him.”
